Frits Bronstijn is Cleaner of the Year 2023 

During the Cleaner of the Year-event they really succeeded in putting cleaners in the spotlight. In the Netherlands we have around 170,000 cleaners and their work is - in our opinion - undervalued. Events like this provide contrast and give cleaners the applause they deserve. Especially Frits, of course, because he won the title.

A video was made of all the cleaners and we got an insight into their work. The similarities were remarkable, even though everyone worked in a different industry and had a different background. For example, everyone was told that they work extremely hard, are proud of the work they do, are there for others and enjoy going to work every day. They do their cleaning work with a smile and are proud of what they do. Everyone is modest, until it's about their passion for cleaning. Great to see!

Winner Frits has been working for Success Cleaning for 12 years and loves his job. "I always enjoy going to work, even if it is sometimes hard," he told us. And it shows, because Frits smiles from ear to ear as he tells more about his work. 'I enjoy it. When I arrive at the station in the night that I have to clean, it's often a grubby mess. I get to work and when I finish, everything shines. What I do is visible and I like that'. So it is, Frits.

We wish him and all the other passionate cleaners many more years of job success. Then let us do our best a little more often to give them the appreciation they deserve. An event like this, helps with that.
